-- Day 17 -- Luxembargine Point?

We awoke once again too early and by a roomate who lost the concept of non-morning people. We caught the train to Luxembourg, with two changes, but all went smoothly. The trip was very warm though, seems Europe is heating up as we prepare to leave. It was wierd to change trains in Trier, seeing as that is where our whole voyage started from really. We arrived in Luxembourg on the smallest train ever, could literally see from end to end, considering it was only two cars. Shows you how many people go there. When we arrived, we walked to

the "hotel" and noticed an aura of pointlessness surrounding the place. I put hotel in quotation markes because on arriving we saw the beat up carpet, the burnt out sign, and the bathroom where you have to walk down one hall for the shower, which must be held in the hand at all times, and then down another hall for the bathroom. Of course then you have to go to your room for the sink and mirror. Of course Lux has to have too many zeros attached to it's money, which means that we have to figure yet another exchange rate. We did manage to find the Icelandair office though, so that was a plus.

-- Day 18 -- Death by bus

We have determined that the country is extreme amounts of wussyness and retardation. They design bus routes where the bus can't go if there are cars on the road, they don't take credit cards, and in generalthey suck. Like the French, they are rude as well. They also have the worst airport set up. We felt as if the three of us could take over the pidly nation. And they also decided to reroute the plane through Frankfurt for some ungodly reason. So after a nice typical airline delay, we finally

managed to make it from Luxembourg to Frankfurt, where we off-loaded more than half the plane and took on another huge group of people. We wondered where these people were headed since our plane was not originally schedualed to go to Frankfurt. We did manage to abtain asile exit rows for Andrew and I, and David got a window seat. Love that leg room. The food was once again excellent, salmon this time, with some weird salad thing. Of course it did help being served by one of the nicest lookingIcelandic fight attendents Bergbora, how that

is pronounced we have no idea. Wondering how much time we'll have in Iceland, but that really won't matter.
