-- Day 13 -- Infiltration

We leave Wien on yet another overcast day. Didn't get to do the shopping we wanted but hopefully we'll get the chance in other places. We caught the early train, that still seemed to take forever, we must have seen the snak-cart guy eight times. After many hours of cramped uncomfort, we arrived in Innsburk. We figured that getting to Switzerland might be more of a challenge than we were up to. Instead we are spending another day in Innsbruck and Stuttgart. We finnaly managed to use the Austrian bus system, but we are still not

completely sure. We seem to come across many other travelers from the land down under, and all have been nice. Innsbruck does not seem to have the flair for politeness that Vienna did, but that could just be the few people we have encountered. I have really come to appreciate the bars and the atmosphere they have to offer, it will be sad to give it up when we return home. Tomorrow he hope to hit the Glacers around town and do some shopping.

-- Day 14 -- Rain... No, Sun...

Well today arrived way to early, with an annoying announcement at 7am. Once again we were harassed by rommates that snore. We finally broke our itinerary, with the stay in Innsbruck. Too bad the day turned out to be so poor. It seemed that every time we were outside it was cloudy, and when we went inside it got sunny. We would come out of stores, and witin minutes it would cloud up again. We still have yet to master the European dining out thing, thought we had it in Vienna, but faltered again.

-- Day 14 -- What Bus System

We also managed to realize that we can't figure out the bus system either, cause half the people don't seem to pay yet no one seems to care. Would like to come back to see the mountains more closely and do some other things we missed. Hopefully our time in Stuttgart will prove a little better. We've be having problems finding gifts for people, not fo lack of trying just nothing seems to jump up and grab us. Cigars have also not been easy to come by. A few more days and we can relfect on this adventure in its entirety.

-- Day 15 -- Benz and Hills

We woke up way to early, to catch the train to Stuttgart. Of course the weather got nice as soon as we stepped on the train. We had a very comfertable sitting area, newer than anything before. It was a long train ride, but the first that we did not sleep through. Arriving in Stuttgart we observed the symbol of the cityrotating high above the station, fittingly a Mercedes emblem. We ventured onto the hostel which proved to be more like a hike through the Alps, with the steep hills, stairs and very warm temperatures. After

-- Day 15 -- No Turkey

trudging back down we wandered the city center, where everyone and I mean Everyone hungout. We have seen many more cute girls here, but our fair share of punks too. More problems in the Berkley guide, but we make do. Had our first Turkish meal, it was pretty good. Not much time in the night since the curfew was early. Only a few days more, it will be wierd to be home again. Can't wait to see people, especially Lauren, wonder what will come of working?

Need I say more?

Again, no more needs to be said!

-- Day 16.5 -- Why Bother?

One would ask what could compare to the morning we've had, and we say nothing. BUT, it can be accompanied. We wre treated to a brass ensemble playing some dixieland and a little Sousa. We were able to procure some Cubans for the father figures, and all other presents will be purchased in Iceland. We Leave the land of Beer and Schnitzel tomorrow, and our journey is about over. Made some creative packing for some of the more precious things.

-- Day 16.75 -- Not over yet...

We observed some punks in the park wich sparked an interesting discussion about personal defense weapons. We ate dinner at this somewhat ritzy place, but seemed more toned down from when we had passed the day before. More trouble with lacking wait staff, but that has come to be expected. We were witness to a group of spaniards living it up though. Allways love the walk walk back up the hill to our sleeping places.
