My name is Geeves, and I am the friend who did not accompany the big three to Europe. I will be completeing the journal with the events that occured during their arrival in the new world.
-- Day 18 -- The Final Insult
All the parents, including Dr. and Mrs. Nashel, Mrs. Singley, and Mrs. Maimone accompanied me to Baltimore-Washington International Airport to pick up their respective sons. As it turns out, the trip had one last adventure for the boys: Iceland Air managed to leave Greg's bag in Iceland. I suggested that the airline fly Greg back to pick up his bag, but they did not think that was absolutely necessary. They delivered the bag the next day. The boys had not shaved on thier entire trip, and so they looked a little scragly. Dave especially. He went home and shaved immediately. The other two went to sleep.
-- Day 19 (the next weekend) -- The Debriefing
All the participants gathered at the Maimone's, to discover what exactly had happened while the big three were in Europe. The lunch was wonderful, and Dave, Greg and Andrew told stories of faraway lands, cute women, and fast cars. There were even about 40 rolls of film to be shown. We saw a lot of cars, and buildings, and none of them. But that is ok, because we know what they look like. They also distributed presents. Mr. Maimone received Cigars, Mrs. Singley a pooper-scooper, and I received a Porsche key chain, made in Taiwan, which promptly broke. There is nothing like German engineering.
